| We met another lovely family in the village when we went for a walk to see the local school. Lewa (on the left), is the eldest daughter in the family and she is studying at the university in Lautoka. She was helping her mother (Vinny) weave a large pandanas floor mat, and she showed us how she makes woven bracelets to sell to the tourists. Lewa also asked us if we'd be interested in letting her family prepare us a traditional Fijian Lovo dinner for a donation to the village school. Of course, we said "Yes Please!!". | |
